Functional Chocolates

How many of your products should be taken a day?
The suggested serving is 5 bites of the Beauty Me, Vitamin Me and Energize Me. The suggested serving for the Protein Me is 6 bites.
Do your products contain any artificial ingredients?
No. We do not have artificial sweeteners, colours, additives, preservatives nor flavours in any of our products.
Are your products made using any chemicals or accelerants?
No. We have an entirely natural Bean-to-Bar process that starts sourcing high-quality cocoa beans grown in the earth of Ecuador. They are fermented in old-school wood boxes covered with leaves and then air dried. Once at the factory, they are roasted in small batches to ensure the small tolarge beans get the right roasting for their size.

Once the beans are roasted, they are cracked and windowed to remove the outer shell and separate the cocoa nibs from the shells. The nibs are then ground into a paste called cocoa liquor, which is the basis for all chocolate products.

No alkali or any chemicals are used in the conching process or while tempering our product.

The Bean-to-Bar process results in chocolate with a distinctive flavor and texture, as well as a unique story that can be traced back to the source of the cocoa beans. In addition, this entirely natural process helps preserve more antioxidants, flavonoids and theobromine than other chocolates with chemical processing.

Caffeine – I heard chocolate contains caffeine. How much caffeine is included in your product.
Each 8-gram chocolate bite contains ONLY 6mg of caffeine. That is a very small amount, naturally occurring. See some examples below of other products caffeine contents:
* The caffeine content of coffee and tea made at home and at cafés is a rough equivalent and may vary from the stated value in each case.
** The caffeine content is theoretically estimated based on the percentage of cocoa in the shell and filling of the bite. 70% shell - 30% filling
Do your products contain erythritol and is this an issue?
Our Vitamins/Supplements contain about 1g of erythritol per bite and daily dose.

Erythritol is a natural sugar substitute that is found naturally in grapes, peaches, pears, watermelon and in wine to name a few.

There have been several studies over the years to show the safety of this erythritol and the FDA has granted it the status of GRAS since 2001 which means it’s Generally Recognized as Safe.

There has been some press on one recent study, however, it was a small base, correlation study (not causation), with a patient group with a high prevalence of diabetes and obesity, who consumed 30g per day and sugar wasn’t controlled.
How does your brand support diversity?
We are very proud of the diversity of our company.

Our company is Certified Women Owned, have a LGBTQ+2S Founder and 50% of our Founders are BIPOC. We proudly share our support on our packaging and in our marketing mix.
